How
we started.
More
then 21 years in business.
In fact, that
is why Playwood was founded. I wanted
a playscape for my daughter Jessica, and after a nation
wide search I found nothing that I felt comfortable with.
There
were problems with safety and durability in all
the equipment I inspected. So Jessica started it all.
I
first began designing and constructing outdoor play
environments in 1983. At the outset, I felt it was
important to obtain all currently available information
concerning playground safety and causes of injury.

with a continuing commitment to excellence.
